The Borough functions under PA Borough Code with a Mayor and 7 Council positions.
The Borough employs 32FT and 8PTpersons with major services including Administration, Police, Code Enforcement and Public Works.
The General Operating budget is approx.
5 million dollars.
Requirements:
Applicants will have a bachelor's degree in public administration, management, finance or a related field and/or a relevant combination of experience and education.
A 5-year minimum of municipal experience is expected.
The ideal candidate will also have:
o Strong leadership skillso Demonstrate skills in municipal finance, budgeting, and administrationo People management / human resourceso Planning / land-use / zoningo Solid waste / Stormwater managemento Comprehensive planningo Grant administrationo Excellent verbal and written communication skillso Computer / technology proficiencyo Experience with collective bargainingo Innovative thinking and problem-solvingo Must maintain a solid and cordial working relationship with elected and appointed Borough officials, employees, and the general public.
o Ability to be bonded.
